As an artist I have explored Mixed Media: acrylic on canvas, collage, ink and watercolor, made mobiles using everything from paper and cardboard to metal and wood, sculptures, and oil pastel on paper. I am recently doing contemporary art using acrylic and ink to experiment with shapes, colors and lines.
My biggest influence was my father Edward Levitt who taught me art. He was an artist in the animation business in Hollywood for Disney and Bill Melendez Studios.
I have taken art classes at: Otis Parsons, John C. Campbell Folk School, Yosemite Art Classes and Antelope Valley College. I also have participated in many workshops as a member of Gallery 825 and Los Angeles Experimental Artists.
